There were approximately 20 people at the community meeting on Wednesday evening. The group included both Guild members and other neighbors. David Ehrhardt led off the discussion with a an update based on the latest information from the Guild's outside experts, who have been reviewing the draft EIR. The discussion included history and talking points for the upcoming planning commission meeting. The winery committee meeting followed. The winery committee discussed strategy and plans for preparing written comments to be reviewed at the Guild board meeting on August 26th. After discussion, revision, and approval by the board, the comments will to be presented at the planning commission meeting on August 27th. Note, the planning commission decision meeting has been moved out to September 24th. The updated time line is:

• August 27 - Second Planning Commission Meeting
• September 5 - End of 45 day comment period
• September 24 - Third Planning Commission Meeting

Public participation in the hearings is a very important part of this process. Please make every effort to attend the planning meetings and submit written comments.
