San Mateo Supervisor Rich Gordon will be visiting La Honda on Monday, January 28, at 7:00 pm at the La Honda Elementary School to discuss with the community the assessment district the County will propose to the Board of Supervisors on January 29, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. The assessment district is to mitigate the La Honda landslide. The County released its Engineers Report for the assessment district scenario on January 24, 2007. To review the report, download it below.

The general public is encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss and ask questions on this proposed assessment district. The proposed district includes the Cuesta La Honda Guild and many of its adjacent neighbors.

After the public meeting, there will be special Guild membership meeting with the Guild attorney.
