Special Community meeting for water customers of Cuesta La Honda Guild

There will be a special community meeting for customers receiving water service from Cuesta La Honda Guild on March 5th.
The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions about water quality and quantity that customers may have in regard to the planned implementation of chloramine disinfection to reduce harmful disinfection byproducts in the Guild’s drinking water, and the recent need for water rationing.
Questions concerning the exploration of aeration to mitigate disinfection byproducts will also be addressed. In attendance will be Eugene Leung of the California Department of Public Health; John Chapin, Guild Chief Water Treatment Operator; Terry Adams, Public Works Operations Director, and the Cuesta La Honda Guild Board of Directors.
