Emergency Water Conservation Notice!
Early in the day on Friday July 30, the filter treatment plant shut itself down due to high turbidity levels in the filtered water. In consultation with the filter manufacturer, the Pall Corporation, measures are being taken to remedy the problem. In the meantime, we ask that water use be kept to a minimum. There are written notices posted in several locations about town. When plant function is restored, a second notice will be circulated.

Notice of Preparation Received
On February 9, 2010, the Guild received a Notice of Preparation for a revised Draft Environmental Impact Report on the Clos de la Tech Winery project. The major modification in this revision concerns the means for getting around the bottling limit imposed imposed by County regulations. Previously, the applicants proposed a Zoning Text Amendment that created a new class of "Scenic Wineries" in San Mateo County that would be permitted a higher bottling limit. In this revised project, a different Zoning Text Amendment and a Zoning Map Amendment are proposed to reassign the parcel containing the proposed winery from Resource Managment to Planned Unit Development (PUD). The description of the Planned Unit Devlopment would include an increased bottling limit.
