Revised Draft EIR expected in September
The Guild has been informed by the County that the revised Draft EIRfor the Clos de la Tech Winery project is expected to be completed in September.
Guild Comments - Notice of Preparation
The Guild sent the County comments on the revised Notice of Preparation for the Clos de la Tech Winery project, expressing its ongoing concerns with ensuring the quantity and quality of the Guild's water supply.
Notice of Preparation Received
On February 9, 2010, the Guild received a Notice of Preparation for a revised Draft Environmental Impact Report on the Clos de la Tech Winery project. The major modification in this revision concerns the means for getting around the bottling limit imposed imposed by County regulations. Previously, the applicants proposed a Zoning Text Amendment that created a new class of "Scenic Wineries" in San Mateo County that would be permitted a higher bottling limit. In this revised project, a different Zoning Text Amendment and a Zoning Map Amendment are proposed to reassign the parcel containing the proposed winery from Resource Managment to Planned Unit Development (PUD). The description of the Planned Unit Devlopment would include an increased bottling limit.
Planning Comission hearing cancelled
The County has notified us that planning comission hearing originally scheduled for September 24th, 2008 has been cancelled.
