The County has notified us that planning comission hearing originally scheduled for September 24th, 2008  has been cancelled.

 

The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in partnership with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services is sponsoring a “Disaster Preparedness Day” on Saturday September 13th. The event will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P. M. at the San Mateo Event Center. This will be a great opportunity to receive additional information on preparing yourself and your family for emergency situations as well as seeing many of the emergency services agencies supporting communities throughout the county.

The Guild submitted formal written comments on the Clos Del La Tech Draft EIR to the county this afternoon. Two documents were submitted: A cover letter which summarizes the main issues of importance to the Guild, and a full set of comments based on legal and expert advice which provides detailed comments on the EIR.

There were approximately 20 people at the community meeting on Wednesday evening. The group included both Guild members and other neighbors. David Ehrhardt led off the discussion with a an update based on the latest information from the Guild's outside experts, who have been reviewing the draft EIR. The discussion included history and talking points for the upcoming planning commission meeting. The winery committee meeting followed.
